Five steps, in order
Restoration isn't scatter-and-pray. It's a sequence, and the order is what makes it stick.
The sequence
1 survey what's already here, and what soil you have 2 prepare strip or starve the fertility down 3 sow the mix, at the right grams per metre 4 manage a first-year mow, then let it be 5 record transects, photos, and a count
What most people skip
Step five. The people who record their meadow are the ones whose meadow survives a decade. The rest give up in year two when it looks "messy".
