Yarrow's flat white umbels are landing pads. A hoverfly can work a single head for ten minutes, and there are always a dozen more on the same plant.

Why we sow it
It's the drought-proof workhorse. Long flowering, deep-rooted, and it comes back thicker every year — the perennial backbone of the driest meadows we build.
