Oxeye daisy is what most people picture when they say "wildflower meadow" — the tall white daisy that leans into the path. It blooms late and hangs on.

Why we sow it
It's the most forgiving species in the mix. If a meadow is going to survive a bad year, the oxeyes are the ones still standing in September, feeding the last of the bees.
